From studio recordings to second hand audio ripped from VHS tapes and cassette tapes made in basements, this is a time capsule of what was happening in Knoxville from 1995-2002. Many of these recordings have never had any kind of official release, and tracking them down has been a real journey. Even though there are over 30 bands here, there are so many more bands from the era whose recordings have been lost to the ages, or that I wasn't able to track down. Any song featured on here was included with permission by at least one member of the band. ALL profits made from this release will be donated to local venues. Thank you to all the bands who contributed a song. Extra special thanks to Greg Barker, Erik Lane, and Dustin Bolt for helping this come together, and contributing so much! This compilation is dedicated to all the musicians on here that are no longer with us.
